About Dr. Walega

Dr. Walega joined Integrated Pain Solutions in 2023 and is accepting new patients at the Columbus, Ohio office. He enjoys using evidence-based medicine to improve his patient’s quality of life. His use of a multi-disciplinary approach to treating pain at the source has allowed patients to return to normal activities and enjoy time with their loved ones.

Dr. Walega specializes in non-surgical methods of treating knee pain, chronic low back pain, cancer pain and cancer survivorship related issues, and much more. He prides himself on the use of minimally invasive and non-invasive treatments to improve pain and to avoid the long term use of opioids with the ultimate goal of improving patient function and quality of life.

Prior to joining Integrated Pain Solutions, Dr. Walega has spent 25+ years treating patients using a multidisciplinary approach, combining the latest advancements in pain management with a patient-centered focus in both an academic and private practice setting.

He holds dual board certification in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology.
