Gladstone C. Mcdowell II, MD

Gladstone C. McDowell II, MD is the Medical Director of Integrated Pain Solutions in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. McDowell attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed Residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Colorado in Denver. Dr. McDowell completed a Urologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He performed a Pain Management Fellowship in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Ohio State Pain Control Center.


Dr. McDowell is the Former Medical Director of Grant Pain Management Center and Director of Pain Services for Grant Medical Center, Ohio Health. He is on the Board of the Texas Medical Institute of Technology, Community Emergency Health Initiative, and the Ohio Clinical Advisory Board of the National Multiple Sclerosis Association. Dr. McDowell has held faculty appointments at the National Patient Safety Congress meetings and National Institute for Heatlhcare Fraud. He has been the Primary Pain Consultant for Careleaders and TMIT. He recently taught at the FBI Health Care Fraud Managers Meeting and served on the 2007 and 2011 International Polyanalgesic Consensus Panel.


Dr. McDowell is Certified as a Patient Safety Officer by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in 2008. He is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, and North American Neuromodulation Society.
Dr. McDowell’s research is published in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has authored book chapters regarding Urology and Anesthesiology.


Committed to serving others, Dr. McDowell volunteered free surgery and training other physicians, plus equipment donations at Kingston Public Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica in 2007 and 2010.


During his studies and career, Dr. McDowell received numerous awards and recognitions, including:

Dr. DeWayne Brinkman D.C., PA-C

Dr. DeWayne Brinkman D.C., PA-C is a Doctor of Chiropractic and Certified Physician Assistant.


DeWayne earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg SC and gained his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg KY.


Dr. Brinkman ran his Chiropractic office for over 5 years before expanding his treatment scope by becoming a Physician Assistant.


He has worked as an Orthopedic and Sports Medicine PA for 2 years before moving to Columbus in order to be closer to his family.


Dr. Brinkman has worked in Pain Management the last 2 years and has gained experience in acute pain management, long-term medication management, implanted pain pump management, and spinal cord pain stimulator pain management.


Dr. Brinkman has extensive experience in spinal and musculoskeletal pain and provides not only a traditional but also an alternative medical insight in helping people with their pain.

Jackie Mann, RN

With over 30 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, Jacki brings breadth and depth, as well as, a solid foundation to her work. Her skills have been honed not only within the traditional medical system but also within the field of complementary and alternative medicine. Her passion for her work shines through in all she does with clients. She works with the sick, the well, the living and the dying. She aspires to inspire them toward enhanced levels of self-care, inner peace, and authentic living.

Ahmed Edwards, Acupuncturist

Ahmed Edwards L.Ac., DOM has been practicing Acupuncture since 1996 in New Mexico and since 2000 in Ohio. He was among the group of the first three Registered Acupuncturists issued licenses in Ohio, holding license #2. Ahmed taught acupuncture seminars for Medical Students at OSU College of Medicine (2000-2010), taught Acupuncture and Nursing students at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine (2010-2013), and was a certified embryologist through the College of American Pathologists (1999-2001). Ahmed specializes in pain and injury related cases with 20 years of experience in general acupuncture practice, including fertility, depression, anti-aging and chronic illnesses.
